The Northern Ohio Business Center in Sheffield Village is offering flexible workspace options for entrepreneurs, remote workers and small business owners who need a professional environment without the commitment of a traditional office lease.
Founded in 2021, the coworking space at 5224 Cobblestone Road provides private offices, semi-private workstations, open coworking areas and day-use workspace designed to accommodate a variety of professional needs.
“The Business Center is a coworking space,” said owner David Andras. “What that is, is a shared space of individuals who may need a private office, maybe they’re a remote worker, maybe they own a small business.”

Andras said the model is geared toward professionals who need separation from home or a downsized corporate setting but don’t require a large office footprint.
“Somewhere that they can go and they don’t need a full 3,000- or 5,000-square-foot space,” he said. “They just need a place to handle their business and conduct their business without the interference of home and kids.”
The Northern Ohio Business Center includes private offices, semi-private dedicated desks and an open coworking area similar to a café-style environment.

Members also have access to conference rooms, meeting rooms and semi-soundproof private booths for calls and interviews.
“We have that space available as well where you can just spend a day there and work again in a professional environment,” Andras said.
Membership includes amenities such as internet access, printing, scanning and a stocked kitchenette with coffee, snacks and water.
The Business Center also hosts networking events aimed at encouraging collaboration among members from different industries.
“We provide networking events, and with that, you’re going to collaborate with different sets of people,” Andras said. “You can collaborate, network and provide kind of that foundation of your network.”
Andras said the idea for the Business Center came from his own experience as a business owner struggling to find a productive workspace.
“I needed a space to work, but I didn’t need this big space,” he said. “I said, ‘What if I got a space and shared it?’”
The Business Center operates entirely online, allowing users to book tours, conference rooms or workspace as needed.
Andras said the goal is to create a professional atmosphere that supports focus, collaboration and growth.
“A place where everybody could come in, no matter what the business is, and have a motivated professional atmosphere to conduct your business,” he said.
